Did you know such approaches to connect 'man' and 'green' as you will find in this seminar?
In our 2nd GreenPal Cafe, we will introduce some case studies about park designing from the US.
The feature panelists are Dr. Isabel Wade and Ms. Bonnie Ora Sherk.
Dr. Wade plays a crucial role in promoting park building involving community people in the San Francisco area. She will introduce her park building process, as well as her effective approaches in partnership with the local authorities. Ms. Sherk is an environmental city planning architect.
She will introduce to us her case studies with an artist's point of view and approach. |

Dr. Isabel Wade
Chairman, the Urban Resource System
President, San Francisco Neighborhood Parks Council
Dr. Wade promotes the 'sustainable community building' through green conservation in the S.F area, and has been involved in this work since the 1970s.
Dr. Wade is a key figure in civil green activities and NPO activities, and has founded several organizations and projects.

Bonnie Ora Sherk
Founder & Director of Life Frames. Inc.
Ms. Sherk is an environmental architect who designs parks including multi-culture / ecology / technology parks and urban farm parks. She has succeeded in building systems involving communities and its people from every sector. She makes the best use of a community's resources in her park design: people, nature, history, economy, and art.
